Ferris is a hero for every generation.
There are a lot of films, which, while not that old, have already fallen on the scrap pile of history.
This one is different, fondly remembered by those around in the ’80s, while also (somewhat surprisingly) revered by kids too young to even know what a video store was.
Heck, the Library of Congress even preserved it!
And why not?
It remains eternally funny, the sunniest film concocted by John Hughes, and splendid use of a knockout cast.
Everyone knows the star, but don’t sleep on Jennifer Grey, perfect as the perpetually-peeved sister.
