You can’t go home again.
Burt Lancaster, still impossibly toned ‘n tan at age 52, spends most of this film refusing to wear a shirt, or come to terms with his cloudy past.
At first glance, he appears to be a successful businessman who has decided to hop from pool to pool on his way home from work, getting in some watery workouts while playing mac daddy to all the ladies on his route.
But something is off, as hints of trouble begin to ripple across the water, and frown lines form on an otherwise taut face.
A reckoning is coming.
