Don’t Go in the Woods (2010)

Talk about box office poison.

When you take two things many moviegoers hate — musicals and slasher flicks — and mash them together, it’s probably best to plan for empty seats.

Too bad, as all those MIA ticket buyers are the losers.

Sure, it’s rough around the edges, and not everything gels, but actor turned director Vincent D’Onofrio embraces the weirdness, and the film benefits.

I mean, what’s not to love about a film where a deranged killer howls about a hurricane, while covered in his friend’s blood?

I see by the look on your face you may not agree…
