Josephine and the Roach

Love, sweet, unconventional love.

Swept away by ardor, an animated cockroach falls hard for a sweet-natured, if downtrodden, real-life human lady in this odd, enchanting short film.

Both adore music, with the bug playing the violin and the lonely lady a big fan of her wheezing accordion, while both spend their fair share of time being buffeted by the cold realities of life.

Josephine’s husband, an exterminator who hates music and roaches in equal measure, stands in the way of true happiness, but there may be an unconventional way around that.
