The Night of the Hunter

Evil waits.

Lurking in the shadows, or hiding behind the deceptively placid stare of a preacher, it moves like a lion, waiting to consume all in its past.

His knuckles famously tattooed with “love” and “hate,” Robert Mitchum is a killer, a thief, and an amoral force of nature, out there “doin’ God’s work.”

Which, in this case, means leaving a trail of bodies behind him as he winds his way across the country.

Stalking two children, who know where a cache of stolen money is stashed, he’ll put the fear of God into each and every one of us.
