It’s the same cow.
That’s the thing we remember about this tale of Mother Nature beatin’ the heck out of everyone and everyplace — the fact a twister picks up a hardy bovine and tosses it from one side of the screen to the other.
Then sends it shooting back from whence it came.
I remember the theater going wild in the moment back in ’96.
Jump forward to 2020, and, from the comfort of their couch, my nephews liked it even better, hootin’ and hollerin’ with glee as Bessie went on her weather-assisted joy ride.
Some things just get better with time.
