“That’s a spicy meat-a-ball!”
Jim Carrey was in peak form in 1994, a year when he spit out Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber, becoming the biggest star in America.
I saw this gem at a rundown side theater with my sister, and have two enduring memories.
One, the film was hilarious, a fact which has held up through endless repeat viewings.
And second, there was a large chunk of brown … material … attached to the theater wall where we were sitting in the back row.
“It’s a brownie.”
“Sure it is.”
It was probably not a brownie…
