Mad Max: Fury Road

In which things blow up good. Real good.

Plot is a secondary concern during this eye-popping post-apocalyptic adventure, and, frankly, I’m fine with that.

Returning to his most-famous character with a vengeance, old-school master George Miller creates a mesmerizing world of danger and intrigue, then sets it all on fire to fuel our childish delight.

You give me a guy playing a flaming guitar, while drummers pound in support of him, all on a vehicle slashing through the heart of non-stop battle, and I can dig it.

Are there smarter films out there? Sure.

Do I care? Nope.
