Wes Anderson is a director you love with a burning passion, or hate with about as much ardor.
His style is not for everyone, and nothing I say is likely to change your mind if you find his way of filmmaking annoying or pretentious.
For me, this fun romp with an all-star cast careening around a resort is my second-favorite of Anderson’s films, trailing just Bottle Rocket.
