Dude has a unique style.
Hailing from Jolly Olde England, Arthur Brown, who’s still going strong at 78, set the stage (and his head) ablaze, unleashing banshee wails, influencing several generations of future singers.
While he was never a huge crossover star, he did share the stage with big-timers like The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and The Doors, while providing the spark for people like Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson.
Cooper, for one, praised Brown, saying that watching his performances were like “All my Halloweens came at once.”
Step back in history and welcome the God of Hellfire to the stage.
