She walks the line.
A freshly-minted cop, Jamie Lee Curtis hits the streets and immediately encounters trouble, killing a robber during a confrontation at a store.
Only problem is, the perp’s gun goes missing, thanks to a customer pilfering it when no one’s looking.
Facing an investigation for (seemingly) gunning down a defenseless man, Curtis gets in much deeper when the missing gun starts being used in a series of crimes, all seemingly connected back to her.
Director Kathryn Bigelow made this film between pumping out Near Dark and Point Break, and she knows how to craft a solid thriller.
