Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle

Nightmare fuel for days.

This lush, creepy retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s jungle stories, helmed by Andy Serkis, is the least family-friendly version out there.

In particular, there’s one of the more cruel movie deaths I’ve witnessed.

It features the whacking of a supremely-cute, and utterly harmless, lil’ animal — which would make the Seven version of Brad Pitt wail and gnash his teeth.

“What’s … in the … Great White Hunter’s … tent??????”

But if you’ve always been hankering to witness a very-disturbing Kaa the snake as voiced by silver screen goddess Cate Blanchett, this is the place.

You had me at Cate Blanchett.
